Moving to Peace

John Gushit: My place of origin is Kawel-Mushere in Bokkos Local Government of Plateau State, Central Nigeria. My parent’s carriers as missionaries expose me to leaving in extremely remote villages with different kinds of people having various cultures and traditions. This exposure have challenged me to exploit every opportunity within the limited family resources to built a carrier that will note only bring leverage to the immediate family but my immediate community and the world at large. After my secondary education in a Public school in 1991, I proceeded to Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU) Bauchi, Nigeria where I obtained my Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) Degree in Industrial Chemistry. Thereafter, I enrolled for Master of Science (MSc) in Applied Analytical Chemistry in The University of Jos where I completed in 2008. Presently I have registered for PhD Research in ATBU. Currently an Academic Staff in the Department of Science Laboratory Technology, Faculty of Natural Sciences, University of Jos. Recently have strong interest in peace building & conflict Resolution.
